May 23rd Dillinger Slept Here! Tours*Speakers*Lillian Holley's car on site*1930's food vendor Come join us and explore new displays, new research and the jail that Dillinger found a way to escape from. Make your way through the jail from the small cell Dillinger was kept in through the guard walks of the jail right out the kitchen door ! Follow his footsteps to the garage where he stole his getaway car, and then take a picture with the car! We will gather in the courtroom in the Criminal Courts building next door where Dillinger learned he would be staying at the Lake County Jail, and our speakers will paint a picture for you what was really happening in the Gangster Era with the most hardened criminals, some of who were behind the bars of our jail ! Because of space limitations in the jail, there are tickets for morning tours and tickets for afternoon tours. Tickets at hauntpay.com 2026!!!! Opening date for history tours - Saturday May 2nd Tours are every Saturday 10am to 1pm Booking opening March 1st for our Paranormal Investigations Investigations are Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 2am. These investigations must be booked with the Foundation You can message through the webpage, through fb at old jail/sheriff's house or you can email [email protected] hunts are $25 per person with a minimum of 5 people. There is separate pricing for paranormal events. Please contact us for pricing for party rentals and filming. |
