The Old Sheriff's House and Jail is located 40 miles southeast of Chicago in downtown Crown Point. We are easily accessed, less than 3 miles west of Interstate 65 from Exit 249 at 109th Avenue (North Street) or Exit 247 at US 231 (Joliet Street).
